Privacy Policy

How we handle the information you send us through this website — written in plain terms, in proportion to how little of it there is.

Last updated: 31 August 2026 · Dengtai Staircase Manufacturing Co., Ltd.

dtgrating.com exists so that buyers can request quotes on steel gratings and stair treads. That means the only personal data this site normally sees is what you type into a quote form or an email. This page explains exactly what is collected, what is done with it, and how to have it removed.

1 · Information We Collect

The quote form on the contact page asks for five fields, and that set is the complete list of what the form collects:

  • Name — who to address the quote to, you or your company.
  • Email address — where the itemized quote and drawing comments are sent.
  • Country / destination — needed to quote realistic shipping from Tianjin Port.
  • Product interest — which grating line your enquiry is about.
  • Message / details — panel sizes, quantities, materials, anything you choose to include.

If you write to us directly by email or WhatsApp instead, we receive whatever you put in that message. The site has no accounts, no newsletter signup, and no hidden fields — nothing else is collected without your consent.

2 · How We Use Your Information

Your details are used to do the job you asked for: prepare an itemized quote, review your drawings or dimension list, answer technical questions, and — if an order follows — communicate about production, inspection reports, shipping documents and after-sales questions.

That is the whole list. We do not send marketing email unless you ask for it, and we do not build profiles, audiences or advertising segments from your data.

3 · How the Quote Form Is Processed

Form submissions are delivered through formsubmit.co, a third-party form processor. When you press submit, your entry passes through formsubmit.co and arrives in our sales inbox at sales@dtsteelladder.com. Its role is message delivery only — we do not use it for marketing lists or tracking.

If you would rather not use the form at all, email us directly at the same address — the same people read it, and nothing is routed through the processor.

4 · Cookies and Consent

A cookie banner appears the first time you visit. Accept and Decline are given equal weight — one is not styled to win. The two categories involved are:

CategoryWhat it doesWhen it is set
Consent recordA single local storage entry that remembers your Accept or Decline choice, so the banner does not return on every page.Always — it stores only your choice.
Analytics cookiesAggregate statistics on how pages are used (which pages, roughly from where) so we can improve the site.Only after you press Accept.

If you press Decline, no analytics cookies are set and nothing is measured — the site works fully without them. Essential browsing of these static pages does not depend on cookies.

Withdrawing consent: clear this site's data in your browser settings. Your choice is forgotten, and the banner will ask again on your next visit. Choosing Decline at that point withdraws consent entirely.

5 · Data Retention and Security

Enquiry correspondence is kept for as long as it takes to answer it and handle any resulting order, and for a reasonable period afterwards so we can follow up on repeat orders or shipment questions. If you ask us to delete an enquiry and there is no open order attached to it, we will.

Access to the sales inbox is limited to the small team that answers enquiries. We do not claim fortress-grade infrastructure for what is essentially business email — but we also keep the surface small: no customer portal, no stored payment details, no password data.

6 · Third Parties — No Sale of Your Data

We do not sell, rent or trade personal data, and no advertising networks or data brokers receive it. Beyond the two services named above — formsubmit.co for form delivery, and the analytics tool that runs only after your consent — your details are shared only where an order genuinely requires it, for example the delivery details a freight forwarder needs to ship to you.

We never publish buyer lists, and banking information moves only through formal trade documents, never through this website.

7 · Your Rights

You can ask us at any time what information we hold about you, request a correction, or request deletion. Depending on where you are, laws such as the EU GDPR or the California CCPA may give you formal rights of access, correction and erasure — you do not need to cite them; a plain email is enough.

Send any request to sales@dtsteelladder.com and we will confirm what we hold and act on it within a reasonable time.

8 · Children and Minors

This is a business-to-business website about industrial steel products. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

9 · Changes to This Policy

If the way we handle data changes, this page will be updated and the "last updated" date at the top will move. The current version is always the one published here.
