SS304 or SS316 — which grade should I choose?
SS304 covers general corrosion duty — food plants, washdown areas and fresh-water exposure. SS316 adds molybdenum for chloride resistance, making it the grade for marine, dock and heavy chemical service. Tell us the environment and we will recommend one in your quote.
Is stainless grating available in both welded and press-locked construction?
Yes. Welded stainless panels follow the same ranges as our carbon steel line — bearing bars from 20×3 mm to 100×8 mm, spacing 30 / 40 / 60 mm, panels up to 1.25 m wide and 6 m long. Press-locked construction reaches close mesh at 11 / 11 mm.
