Serrated bar grating is specified at the bar level: the teeth live on the top edge of the bearing bars — the bars your soles actually cross — while the cross bars that hold the panel square stay plain. 1 · One bar, two tops
Same flat bar section, same load duty. The serrated version simply trades the flat top for a row of shallow teeth — the geometry buyers specify as anti-slip.
2 · Teeth on the bearing bars only
Traffic walks across the bearing bars, so that is where the teeth go. The cross bars keep their plain twisted or round profile — they tie the panel together, not underfoot.
