Inside a Steel Grating Manufacturer's Workshop
Dengtai Staircase Manufacturing Co., Ltd. forms steel grating in its own workshop in Jingxing Mining District, Shijiazhuang, Hebei. Two forming approaches run under one roof — and we tell you plainly which one your panels need.
1 · Electro-forging line
Bearing bars and cross bars are assembled, then every intersection is resistance-forged under pressure in one pass — a single solid panel with no clips that can loosen. Runs in-house for the bulk of welded grating.
2 · Press-lock line
For close-mesh panels, cross bars are mechanically pressed into notched bearing bars — no weld heat, so panels stay dead flat down to 11 / 11 mm openings.
3 · Galvanizing partner
Hot-dip galvanizing to ASTM A123 / ISO 1461 runs at a certified partner plant close to the mill — typically 2–3 days, already counted inside your production window. We say so because a maker that hides it is hiding other things.

What This Grating Manufacturer Does Not Make
A manufacturer that claims to make everything is really a reseller. Here is our scope, stated plainly — what leaves our own lines, what a partner supplies, and what we simply do not build.
No FRP or GRP grating
Pultruded fiberglass grating needs a different plant and a different process. We do not make it and will not re-quote it as our own. If your spec is fiberglass, buy from a fiberglass maker — if it is steel, talk to us.
No aluminium or expanded metal
Our workshop forms bearing-bar grating in carbon and stainless steel, nothing else. Aluminium grating and expanded-metal mesh are not lines we run, so they are not lines we sell.
Accessories: sourced, not self-made

What do you make in-house, and what is sourced?
We form welded and press-locked steel grating, stair treads and stainless panels in our own workshop. We do not make FRP or aluminium grating, and fixing clips, toe plates and frames are sourced companion items supplied alongside our panels. Hot-dip galvanizing runs at a certified partner plant nearby, counted inside the production window.
