A gully is a point where the floor gives up its worst water. In a food plant that is washdown and fats; in a chemical bay it is corrosive spill heading for the interceptor. The stainless steel gully grating has to fit the chamber exactly and survive what passes through it — so sizing and grade are one decision, made together.

How to measure a gully for a stainless cover

Send three numbers per gully: the chamber's clear opening (length × width), the seat depth the cover rests on, and the traffic that crosses it — foot, trolley or vehicle. We cut and band each SS gully grate to sit flat with a bearing edge all round; square, rectangular and circular tops are all made to order, any length of run and any project quantity.

The gully chamber sets everything: clear opening, seat depth and where the water arrives. We confirm the cover outline against your chamber dimensions before any bar is cut.

2 · Grating selection

Bar height and spacing follow the load crossing the gully — foot, trolley or vehicle. Close mesh keeps the open area a gully needs while holding back small solids, so storm water passes and the interceptor works as designed.

3 · Fabrication & export

Stainless needs no galvanizing — covers are cut and banded to drawing, welds dressed, then strapped and palletized with their mill certificates for the run to Tianjin Port.
